Topic: Flutter User Interface Using Scaffolds

In my sharing, I describe what is Flutter, explain about the Flutter widget, and discuss how to design a mobile app by using the most basic Flutter widget called Scaffold. It also shows examples of using the five most important Scaffold properties in designing a simple mobile app: appBar, body, floatingActionButton, drawer, and bottomNavigationBar.

Types: PowerPoint and PDF files

Rationale: This iOER is very beneficial for anyone interested in developing a mobile app using Flutter. Flutter is a general, open source, object-oriented programming language by Google.  As programming is the top most technical skills demanded for job search today, mobile application programming is one of them. This iOER is a starter for those interested in acquiring and mastering mobile application programming skills.

Accessibility considerations: The accessibility consideration in this iOER includes ensuring no accessibility issues found and as a result people with disabilities should not have difficulty reading the iOER resources presented. The consideration includes providing alternative texts to images, and figures used in the presentation.

Lessons learnt: In this iOER project, I have learned that in designing presentation or resources it is important to make it inclusive for everybody so as not to leave anyone behind. It is hoped that I can contribute more iOER and will encourage and guide more people to cater accessibility issues for individuals with various disabilities around the globe.
